Why is it that those who are on Medicare want the government to pay for the health care, buy bulk when that same government seeks to limited the cost of paying for that care.
I know that a person gets back all that he/she has put into Social Security in the first 3 years when they go on Social Security. From that point on they are on Social Security Welfare. That monthly check runs on average 1000 to 1500 dollars a month for doing nothing minus the 10% for Medicare. The US taxpayers will pay for 80% plus for medical bills, plus drugs. Each day another 50,000 old folks (65) go on Medicare if any of these people need medical services guess who pays the bill? If any of these people drops dead the second they turn 65 and are brought back to life the government will get a 100 + grand charge. If the person heart is brought back to beating while the brain is dead the cost is 400 to 500 dollars an hour as long as that hearts beats the you the taxpayer pays, and pays, and pays. When that dead person is transfer to a private nursing home the cost can/is added on even tho the dead person is brain dead. Spending 4 million dollars a year is not unheard of just to keep that dead person heart beating.
Health care is costly because modern science is so good that that like above item you can keep a dead person heart beating. Silly you might say, but I have it happen to my family where the person was brain dead, but the heart was kept beating. It took another very massive stroke that person died beyond the point where any human could have done.
The point for health cost is at what point do you the tax payer want to keep everyone heart beating and at what cost. Just to pay for dead people hearts to beat run into the 100s of millions each year.
Any one have an opinion on why should the taxpayer keep the dead alive?
